Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
By using Experience Lab, you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable; if anything is unclear, please get in touch.
What Experience Lab is
Experience Lab is a free, browser-based tool that helps professionals capture, structure, and rehearse their work experiences. It is currently offered as an early preview while we validate the product. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice.
Your content
You retain full ownership of everything you write, paste, or import into Experience Lab. We do not claim any rights over your stories, CV text, or drafted profiles. Because your content is stored locally in your browser, you are responsible for keeping your own backups via the Export feature in The Lab.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Experience Lab to:
- submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or violates another person's privacy;
- submit confidential information belonging to a current or former employer, client, or third party that you are not permitted to share;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or the underlying AI provider;
- use the service to generate misleading claims about your experience or qualifications.
AI-generated output
Experience Lab uses AI to structure your input into STAR records, draft profile summaries, and suggest interview answers. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything you use outside the app — especially for job applications, interviews, or CVs.
No warranties
Experience Lab is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Experience Lab and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including, without limitation, loss of data stored in your browser, loss of opportunities, or any outcomes from acting on AI-generated content.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves — for example, if we introduce paid features or accounts. Continued use of Experience Lab after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
